16 Jun 2023Western Australian Museum and University of New South Wales entomologists discover unclassified stink bugEntomologists from the Western Australian Museum and University of New South Wales have made the fascinating discovery of a stink bug species that is believed to be new to science, during a two-week Bush Blitz expedition near Kepa Kurl (Esperance) in Western Australia. The currently unclassified bug, measuring around the size of a pea, has two curved horns as well as bright yellow tusks and was found camouflaged on a local Hakea species of plant.Read more News Kasper Johansen

Dinosaur Explore: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous brings to life some of the extraordinary dinosaurs of Earth’s Cretaceous period in a spine-tingling, Western Australian Museum-curated exhibition featuring 14 life-size dinosaur models. 28 Sep 2022Dinosaurs cause chaos in the cityA herd of dinosaurs rampaged through Perth today on their way to the Dinosaurs of Patagonia exhibition at the WA Museum Boola Bardip. Dinosaurs joined commuters on Transperth bus services, before making their way through Perth Train station to the Perth Cultural Centre and into the WA Museum Boola Bardip where they joined their Patagonian friends!
