My very first specimen was collected at 15 and it is still in the Western Australian Museum collection. I am honoured to be involved in the Museum's lecture series as part of the International Year of Biodiversity and proud to lend my name to the series. Over the coming months the Harry Butler Lecture Series will provide Western Australians with a golden opportunity to hear some of the State's most eminent scientists talk about their work and their hopes for the future of biodiversity in this State and the nation."
