The Western Australian Museum’s media and communications team can assist media with information, images and interview opportunities for exhibitions, public programs and research and discovery relating to the work of the Western Australian Museum at its sites in Perth, Welshpool, Fremantle, Albany, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Filming and Photography Requests

If you would like to take photographs or footage of any of the Western Australian Museum sites for media purposes, or would like to film or record an interview with a member of staff for a media story, email email@example.com with details of your request.
The Western Australian Museum has a range of photographs available to media to publicise the work of the Museum. We are currently developing an online library, which will include commercial licensing and online payment.

Commercial filming requests
The WA Museum provides truly unique venues for commercial filming purposes from the sweeping views and strong architectural lines of the WA Maritime Museum, to the winding staircases and historic buildings in Perth. Whether it is for documentaries, TV advertisements, music videos or commercial fashion shoots, the WA Museum has a range of unique spaces available.
