Museum of Geraldton Education
Overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Museum of Geraldton celebrates the rich heritage of the land, sea and people of the Mid West region.
Discover ancient landforms, Yamaji history and culture, and the region’s natural landscapes and marine environment. Find out how more recent European exploration and settlement has developed the Mid West including the agriculture, fishing, mining and science industries.
The Museum will only be offering self-guided experiences during Term 4.
Groups are welcome to visit the Museum and explore the Shipwrecks Gallery and the Mid West Gallery at their own pace.
There are booklets and trails available for students from Years 1-9. These resources are aligned with the Australian Curriculum: History and engage students in the region’s natural and social history.
Bookings for self-guided experiences are essential.
Entry by donation. Suggestion of $20 per group.
Booklet or trail cost: $2 per student.
