The range of activities in the resource have been designed for Years 6 - 9 but can be adapted to suit other year groups. These education materials in conjunction with the Unearthed exhibition website including the pictorial timeline, first-hand stories of mining life in the Mid West and the Mining to Magnate quizzes will provide your students with a broader understanding of both historical and contemporary mining in the region, and a comprehensive background to any student wanting to undertake further investigation into the theme.
