Fashion details:
Typical of the late 80's, the dress had puffed sleeves and a full hooped skirt. The fabrics used were lace and taffeta, which were also popular in this time period. The bride, a great fan of "Gone With the Wind" and so a wedding dress was chosen with this in mind.

The wedding story:
Carey and Murray dated from Carey's high school days and decided to be married before her first teaching appointment, which was Tom Price Primary School. The wedding was amidst a heat wave in mid January but their wedding day was a mild 27 degrees. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Maddington Hall and guests included family and friends, a number of them travelling from New Zealand.
