Join expert presenters from Birds Australia WA in a day long series of workshops on the birds of Geraldton, the etiquette of bird watching, survey techniques and how to make the most of your field guides and equipment.

Field trip to Witcherina Nature Reserve

Mid West Birding Group - Inaugural birding weekend March 12-13 2011

Sunday 13 March 2011
7.00am – 12.00pm

Meet up at the WA Museum Geraldton with all your own supplies and travel to Witcherina Nature Reserve with guide Kevin Marshall from the Department of Environment and Conservation and visiting bird experts from Birds Australia WA to find and identify birds. Enjoy some time in the field in a range of habitats within the Reserve putting into practice the skills learned in Saturday’s workshops.
