6.00pm, Wednesday 30 November - Perth

The title of this lecture series is borrowed from Dr Butler’s popular ABC TV series from the 1970’s. In the Wild was one of the first programs of its type to use the science of television to communicate natural science and conservation to a wide audience. It was one of the most influential wildlife shows on TV. Dr Butler will explain why it was so successful.
