Yirra Yaakin turns 21

Happy birthday Yirra Yaakin

The Museum’s artist in residence, the Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company is celebrating 21 years as WA’s leading Aboriginal performing arts company.

Join Yirra Yaakin for an exclusive 21st birthday celebration featuring an exciting line up of artists and special guests including;

Ernie Dingo, Richard Walley & the Middar Dancers, David Milroy (and the Wilarra band), Derek Nannup, Kelton Pell, Kyle J Morrison, Miranda Tapsell, Kylie Farmer, MC Optamus and DownSyde with performances from hit shows such as Waltzing the Wilarra, Alice, Windmill Baby, Good Lovin’ and many more. This shared story will be told in an evening of live music, dance and song, from the traditional through to the contemporary.
