Cretaceous Carnival: Family Fun Day

Celebrate the opening of blockbuster exhibition Dinosaur Discovery with the Western Australian Museum’s Cretaceous Carnival!

Kids and adults alike are invited to join in the fun with a day of dinosaur activities for the whole family.

Explore the world of dinosaurs through art and craft. Create fossils and footprints, or squash, squeeze and shape your very own prehistoric pal at our play-doh sculpting station. Make your own piece of dinosaur sand art to take home and treasure.

Learn about life in the Cretaceous period through song, dance, and storytelling. Let Paleontologist Professor P and his trusty side kick Gideon take you dinosaur hunting and discover the world of fossils with their interactive production. Special guest Gobi the Baby Dinosaur will get you dancing the “Fossil Rock” in his singing stage show.
