Blue Jacket with red and yellow trim - c/w buttons.
Tunic/Jacket; squared in front - closed at back - sleeves fairly wide - black/blue material. On back, two outward sloping vertical double braided cords -[yellow cloth], at each end crowsfeet. 6mm cotton braid.
Collar; edged all round by yellow cloth braid - facings of orangy red - stand up type- rounded ends, one hook and eye. 4.4cm high.
Cuff; yellow cloth cord, large Austrian knots on shallow pointed cuff edged braid - no facing.
Shoulder straps; 11.2cm long - blue/black cloth- piped ed cloth, 2 small brass buttons [see belo] 12mm.
Lining; black cloth
Buttons; 5 large on front - 20mm - brass on a raised surface, Victorian crown over garter inscribed 'MILITARY. NSW.FORCES' - NSW coat of arms in middle - on back 'D.JONES & CO. SYDNEY'
