Tunic; blue/black barathea body, skirts rounded in front - front and bottom edged with scarlet piping.
Shoulder cords; gold shoulder cords, infantry pattern - lined black. Crown and star.
Collar; closed stand up type - squared ends - edged top and bottom by Mediacal Staff lace [No. 75, Plate79, 1900 Regulations]. Black velvet facing on which is a row of gold bullet hole braid - on the bottom lined gold braid.
Cuff; pointed type - black velvet facings - 2 rows of gold lace on top row of bullet hole braid - on bottom a straight line of braid. On top an Austrian knot, on bottom crowsfoot and eye.
On front- 8 Medical Staff buttons - gold - Queen Victoria crown over star - surrounding garter on which "Army Medical Staff" surrounding "VR".
According to 1900 Regulations - skirts closed behind - two plaits lines scarlet, 2 buttons on waist behind.
On collar label - Maj. A.J. White z 2234
Trousers; Dark blue barathea cloth, pocket flap on left side. Normally 6 black buttons on fly - 2 missing. For braces - 4 black buttons in front in pairs. At back 2 white metal buttons.
Gold lace - 44mm wide - Lace 1900 Regulations - Plate 79 - No. 75 Army medical Staff. Nos 75 - extends further than bottom of leg - straps at bottom.
Pouch; Black morocco leather, the flap 6ins long and 3 1/3 ins deep with 3 stripes of gold embroidery on bottom and sides - in centre - a chased Royal cypher and crown. Gilt leaves for loops.
Shoulder belt; Black morocco leather, 2ins wide with 3 stripes of gold embroidery. Gilt chased buckle, tip and slide
