Full Colonel's Jacket. Blue/black barathea cloth - red facings. Pointed at bottom and back. Edged all around with 2.1cm wide gold lace - Royal Artillery Pattern No. 65 & 66, 1900 Regulations - on collar, leading edges, bottom and back - at back forming two 'eyes' either side of point. Cuffs are faced ed pointed but all lace is missing. Balls gilt on left leading edge. Hook and eye up to collar.
Collar; 5.5cm high - lace on top and front. On bottom thin gold braid - 4.7cm long white metal embroidered exploding grenades - two hook and eyes.
Shoulder cords; Artillery pattern - gold- white metal embroidered Queen Victoria Crown with crimson velvet field and two white and gold stars [embroidered] underneath. Full colonel.
Lining; Red cotton lining - padded. At bottom red leather lining - supple leather.
Buttons; 2 on shoulder cords - Crown over garter inscribed 'AUT PACE AUT BELLO
