Blue/black barothea jacket - sharp point on bottom in front , shallow point at back - lined in red satin [padded]. Edged collar, leading edge, bottom and back by gold lace - Artillery pattern No. 65 & 66 pattern, 1900 Regs. At back point either side, two large 'eyes' of lace. Row of balls on left leading edge. Hook and eye arrangement up to collar.
Collar - edged at top and front edge by 1.9cm gold lace - 3.3cm high collar - red facing, piped thin gold braid at bottom - forming eye on centre back. 3.1cm long gold embroidered exploding grenade.
Cuffs - red facings - pointed - row of lace on edges descending towards bottom at ends. Crows foot & eye on tip - four looped crows foot on facing bordered all around by bullet hole lace [ see drawing on pink sheet]
Shoulder - gold - Royal Artillery Pattern. White embroidered Crown with crimson field on top of white and gold embroidered star - Lt. Colonel.
Buttons - 2 cm cords - crown over garter inscribed 'AUT PACE AUT BELLO'. 16.5mm wide - gilt.
