Field Service Khaki Frock - Full Colonel.
Lightish green khahi - woollen mix? - fairly light material - moth eaten in places. Squared skirts on front - closed at back. On front 3 pointed flap pockets [no pleats] with buttons. 5 buttons on front - button up to collar type.
Cuffs; are pointed with no facings [ 15.1cm to point].
Collar; Fall down type - 4.3cm high - false white collar connected by five bone buttons to inside of collar. Collar with gorget patch and badge.
Blue patch - one end a small button - 2 red stripes on which exploding grenade and 'Australia' badge drawn as W837 - 7.7cm long. Collar has 2 hook and eyes
Shoulder Boards; Khaki-edged blue[dark]. Gilt King Edward Crown with marroon field over gilt stars [2]. Full Colonel. 2 red stripes of braid from bottom to end of board. See pink sheets
Buttons; 2 ball buttons on shoulder stripes, 4 on pockets - 1.2cm wide, 5 on front - ball type - 1.6cm wide. on gorgry patch - flat type buttons 1.3cm wide. 'Cannon on field' emblem in brass.
