Mess Dress Jacket; Shawl collar, scarlet cloth faced blue/dark. Pointed skirts on front and back. Lining of scarlet linen padding.
Collar; - shawl type - even curve
Cuffs - sharply pointed - dark/blue
Labels; Howes 3JI2816, on rectangular label 9:...... over W.A. Burgess
Wastecoat or Vest; "V" open front type - dark blue - labelled "W.A. Burgess". Pointed skirt on front, inverted "V" notch at back, back adjuster for straps and buckles. Dark blue satin backing.
On front - 4 brass button"Shank Past'". Lining of white linen.
Blue label at bottom - Howes 3JT2816, on waistcosat also "926 - F243" Vo, WA Burgess.
