MEDAL, gold, Commercial Travellers, Franklin, 1928

Flat, oval shaped, gold medal with centre cut out around a pentagonal shape with two shaking hands below. Pentagonal centre has a monogram of ‘UCTA’ in the centre with texturing of lines and small dots on the surface of the letters. Small upside down fleur-de-lis shape joining the pentagon to the shaking hands. Ring attached to top with another ring of coiled metal attached to this. Bottom of border has series of five raised lines with small raised circles in between on both front and back of medal. ‘B.FRANKLIN 10•2•1928’ engraved around border. ‘UNITED COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS ASSN. OF AUSTRALIA’ marked on back in relief.
