Flat, shield shaped, 9 carat gold medal, with raised circle in centre inside which is a man playing soccer carved in relief. Engraved zig-zag border around raised central circle. Decorative border of straight and zig-zag lines around edges of medal. Small flat ring at top through which a rounded metal ring is attached. ‘R.S.C/Bunbury/1929./E.E.WARD./Capt’ engraved on back. Makers mark of sideways T shape stamped into back next to ‘9?’. ‘13823’ scratched into back at bottom.
