MEDAL, gold, Commercial Travellers, Payne, 1959

Flat, oval shaped, 9 carat gold medal with centre cut out around a pentagonal shape with two shaking hands below. Pentagonal centre has a monogram of ‘UCTA’ in the centre with texturing of lines and small dots on the surface of the letters. Small upside down fleur-de-lis shape joining the pentagon to the shaking hands. Small metal ring attached at top. Bottom of border has series of five raised lines with small raised circles in between on both front and back of medal. ‘STOKES/9CT’ stamped into border on bottom left. ‘W.W.B. PAYNE. 21/8/59’ engraved around border. ‘UNITED COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS ASSN. OF AUSTRALIA’ marked on back in relief.
