MEDAL, Masonic, by Middlewick

Flat, gold coloured metal medal attached to light blue ribbed ribbon between two horizontal metal bars. Two rectangular metal pieces, one engraved as a ruler, one with engraved scroll pattern, joined at right angles at top to form a point, with a small square metal frame with ‘Y’ shape in the middle attached between them. Attached at top to horizontal rectangular bar by a metal ring. Gold metal monogram ‘MWB’ with banner underneath engraved ‘FOUNDATION MASTER’ attached to centre of ribbon. ‘BALLIDU’ in raised lettering on top bar. ‘No172WAG’ in raised lettering on bottom bar. ‘Presented to/WOR.BRO. M.W.BROMELL/by the Brethren/of the Lodge/8th July 1939’ engraved on back of medal. Thin, round, metal, pointed pin attached through round metal loop at back of top bar. ‘MIDDLEWICK’ stamped into back of medal at bottom.
