Information supplied by June Swann, world authority on historic shoes visiting from UK, during her inspection of shoe collection 18th October 1993.
'Ewenstein - made in Austria (not Australia). Nice Vienese beaded work. A dance shoe - has suede sole, so not supposed to be worn outside. Good quality, but not top quality. Buttoned in centre of bar. Circa 1905-1910.
