DRESS, early 1900s (Bodice & Skirt)

Dress of black silk damask patterned with roses and butterflies, comprising:
a) Bodice: close fitting, 11 bones; mandarin collar; gathered yoke; stiffened, scalloped shoulder collar lined with crimson cotton sateen and edged with 3 rows of narrow black lace; long sleeves, puffed at shoulders; shaped, turn-back cuffs lined with crimson silk satin edged with black lace; bodice lined with cream cotton, flannelette; sleeves lined with white ribbed silk; 3 metal eyes on outside back hook onto skirt; 2 metal eyes on back of collar hook onto ? decoration.
b) Skirt: 7 gores; straight front; full-gathered back, slightly trained; 2 side gores applied with horizontal flounces of Chantilly-type lace from waist to hem; lined with stiffened black cotton.
Additional information from Neil Hunsley (21/7/82):
Black silk brocade bodice and skirt (by the facing? in skirt, probably remade 1900 - from an older dress.) Lace edged collar and cuffs and trim on skirt. Jabot missing around neck.
