Arr! September 19 is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, me mateys! Land lubbers, smartly get yerself t' t' museum by t' sea in yer finest piratey get-up! Aye!

Translation: "Hey! September 19 is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, dear friends! Citizens of the mainland, may we suggest putting on your best pirate costume and making your way to the WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle, where you will be rewarded! Splendid!" 

Join us at the Maritime Museum and Shipwreck Galleries on September 19 for some fun children's activities. Shoulder parrots for everyone! Treasure coins! Pirate tales for 3-7 year olds! Real shipwrecks at the Shipwreck Galleries!

To celebrate the wonderful world of pirate lingo, if you arrive dressed as a pirate, you can even explore the Maritime Museum for free!
