Lily is in storage and is unrestored, Lily is indicative of the leisure watercraft collection.

The Maritime History Department has a large collection of competitive sailing craft, for example the sixteen-foot skiff, Lily, a uniquely Australian, high performance racing dinghy. This class was founded in Balmain Sydney in 1901 and adopted in Western Australia in 1922. This class became a major class of the Perth Flying Squadron yacht club.
