Cacao, Sound & Ceremony Fremantle Festival: 10 Nights in Port Fri 19 Jul 2019 – Sun 21 Jul 2019 4:00pm – 7:00pm WA Maritime Museum As the winter sun sets, partake in the richness and mystery of the Cacao Ceremony, a feast for the mind and senses centered on the transformational qualities of the ancient cacao plant. This immersive experience will reveal the many properties of Theobroma cacao amidst a meditative soundscape combining sound technology, soaring female vocals, overtone singing and traditional Indigenous music. Time will stand still as the flavor, fragrance and mysteries of the Cacao unfold. Cacao, Sound & Ceremony combines an enchanting soundscape with an in-depth introduction to the history, nutrition and spiritual role of the cacao plant. A traditionally-prepared cacao drink created by Reverence Chocolate and Cacao Ceremonies Perth will connect participants to their senses within this ceremonial experience created by plant medicine experts Willow and Catherine Francis.
