Now in its 70th year, the Fremantle Blessing of the Fleet Festival is a celebration of fishing traditions and community.

The Blessing of the Fleet was first introduced to Fremantle by Italian migrant fisherman in 1948.

Honouring our Heritage - Embracing the Future is a special exhibition featuring photos of local fishermen, their families, and community.

The Blessing of the Fleet parade happens at the end of October each year, leading down to Fishing Boat Harbour and is combined with entertainment on the boardwalks followed by a fireworks display.
