Under the Sea Mon 3 Jul 2017 – Sun 16 Jul 2017 10:00am – 3:00pm Offsite Join the WA Museum at Garden City to learn about the conservation and preservation of our beautiful marine life. Garden City's floor will be transformed into the ocean, complete with deep sea creatures and a kelp forest. Families will be able to take part in fun activities, look at awesome specimen displays, and listen to expert talks from the Museum’s Aquatic Zoology Department. There will also be the chance to win family passes to the Voyage to the Deep exhibition currently showing at the WA Maritime Museum. As families venture deeper into the deepest and darkest parts of the ocean, they will journey through a life-sized sea-inspired "Snakes and Ladders" and uncover the ferocious Anglerfish that uses its lure as a gudiing light. To make sure their trip through the ocean is a safe one, kids will have that chance to craft their very own deep sea helmet! Before you leave be sure to take a photo with the 20-metre long giant inflatable octopus! The school holiday activities are free for all to enjoy.
