The Great War in Broad Outlines explores the role that the ANZACs played during the Great War, especially on the battlefields of Belgium. This exhibition looks at the shared histories that this created between our nations.

Retrace the history of the Great War over 30 illustrated panels, detailing decisive moments and important battles, as well as exploring specific themes such as propaganda.

The exhibition pays tribute to the sacrifice of the ANZAC and reminds us all that Belgium is forever grateful and continue to remember and honour the fallen.

The Great War in Broad Outlines is a touring exhibition organized by the Belgian Embassy in Canberra and Australian Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
