Close Up: A Microscopic View of Moths presents the artwork of Chelsea Hopkins-Allan.

Chelsea combines insights and experiences from her work and studies as an Australian environmental scientist. With concepts from neurology and psychology, a love of nature and attention detail, Chelsea creates unique and modern watercolour, gouache and mixed-media painting.

As part of National Science week this exhibition will display pieces from her moth specimen collection. Chelsea's work will be complemented by the amazing photography of Lata Wright, who uses macro images to explore the breathtaking beauty of a butterfly's wing scales.

You can visit Close Up in the Pop Up Gallery at Museum of the Great Southern from Saturday 10 August to Sunday 18 August.
