Creating habitat for our native fauna almost from scratch is a challenging task, particularly in the old landscapes between the Fitzgerald River and Stirling Range National Parks. Here Bush Heritage has been buying farmland and restoring fauna habitat since 2003. We have learnt a lot along the way and although we use the best science available to guide us there is always a bit of alchemy involved in the process.

About the speaker, Angela Sanders:
The south coast of WA has been home to Angela since the early 1990s and she has worked as an Ecologist during that time. She is currently working for Bush Heritage on the very challenging task of restoring fauna habitat on farmland in the Monjebup area, SW of Jerramungup.
