Nellie Saw's Grave, Albany Memorial Park Cemetery

Albany's Memorial Park Cemetery is the oldest consecrated cemetery (1848) in the State, and its gravesites hold a myriad of interesting tales.

Join Malcolm Traill to discover some of these hidden gems and learn about the lives of the famous - and ordinary -Albany folk buried here.

Bring walking gear and a water bottle as we wander among the headstones in the summer twilight.

Numbers will be limited so book early. Costs are $5.00 (adult); $4.00 (children and concession).

Meet on the south (uphill) side of the cemetery on Middleton Road, Albany.

Call the Museum of the Great Southern on (08) 9841 4844 or email greatsouthern@museum.wa.gov.au for bookings and further details.
