Lustre: Curator Floor Talk Fri 21 Feb 2020 10:00am – 12:00pm Museum of Geraldton Join us for a special presentation with Sarah Yu and Bart Pigram, curators of our latest exhibition Lustre: Pearling & Australia. This floor talk will weave together the diverse strands of Australia’s pearling heritage revealing the natural world, the traditions of Aboriginal Australians who have harvested pearl shell for over 20,000 years, and the complex and enduring relationships of the people who made and defined the pearling industry. Sarah Yu is an anthropologist, curator and heritage consultant. Bart Pigram is a Yawuru man who operates a cultural tourism business, Narlijia Experiences.
