Avast ye landlubber!

A gruesome band of pirates will be commandeering the WA Maritime Museum to teach ye what it takes to be a truly horrible pirate.

Cap'n your own pirate ship, design a fearsome flag, and arm yer'self with wicked weapons – from cutlasses to cannons.

Discover the rigorous rules and perilous punishments that was a part of life aboard ship, and gather 'round to hear tales of menacing pirate men and women.

Horrible Histories – Pirates: The Exhibition is now open...visit if ye dare.


Tickets

  • The exhibition is open from 9.30am to 5pm.
  • Tickets can be purchased online or at the WA Maritime Museum.
  • Tickets include entry to the Museum.

Pirate Story Time (5 and under)

Join us every Monday and Wednesday at 10am to hear stories full of sharks, ships and treasure!

This special program is held inside Horrible Histories – Pirates: The Exhibition where your little one can take control of a pirate ship, try out different weapons, and learn lots of fun pirate facts.

Free entry for children under 5, and adult guardians receive entry at the discounted price of $12.50.

Pirate story time runs until Wednesday 27 June.
