Fun at Home - Treasure Chest

Pirate Treasure Chests

You will need:

  • A3 printout of Treasure Chest – download pdf here
  • Coloured pencils or textas
  • Thin card like a cereal box
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Stapler

Instructions:

Step 1
Colour in your treasure chest.

Step 2
You can stick it to some thin cardboard, like a cereal box, with a glue stick, if you like.

Step 3
Cut it out. Ask an adult to cut the small pink line above the lock.

Step 4
Fold along the dotted lines to make a box shape – make sure your coloured design is on the outside.

Step 5
Staple the inside flaps to the sides of the chest.

Step 6
Curve the lid of the chest over the top and put the closing flap in the slot.

Step 7
Hide your special treasures inside your Treasure Chest!
