Brown with scattered small dark markings, red femoral patches. Breeding Biology Nothing known. Habitat Rocky creeks. Etymology saxatilis means 'rock-dwelling'. General This recently-described species is a Pilbara endemic, centered on the Pilbara craton itself, formerly referred to as Uperoleia russelli (which is now restricted to the Gascoyne region).
