Dr. Harry Butler – a living treasure

Naturalist, conservationist and Western Australian Museum Fellow Dr. Harry Butler has been nominated for the prestigious National Trust's 100 National Living Treasures list.

Dr. Harry Butler is a long time supporter and the name bearer of the WA Museum’s Harry Butler Lecture Series In The Wild West.

From 1976 to 1981 Dr Butler’s legendary wildlife television series In The Wild One reached an estimated 480 million people in 43 countries and featured Dr Butler travelling to remote Australia to showcase his conservation work and expose viewers to the natural wonders and beauty of Australia.
