Friends 4 Ever

The Friendship Corner at the WA Museum – Geraldton Discovery Centre will be a place of activity, discovery and lots of fun for children and families this school holiday period. ‘Say G’day the International Way’ by learning the word hello in several different languages; play a giant game of tic tac toe, hide and seek and a thong-a-phone; make a link in the friendship chain; hit the stage and put on a show with six colourful finger puppets from around the world; or explore the dress-up box to see who you can become.

Mythical Maritime Monsters

Sail through the Shipwreck Galleries in search of strange and mysterious beasts of the deep. Set out on ‘A Monster Mission’ with our exciting new activity trail, and then decorate some mythical creatures of your own with our ‘Mermaid, Amphibaman, Dugong, Dolphin’ foam craft activity.

Under the Sea – explore the amazing marine life of our northern coast

Dive into the Western Australian Museum - Perth during the October holidays and delight in the beautiful and strange animals living under the sea! Get crafty with different sea animals - you might find a jiggling sea jelly, a fun fish kite or you can ‘create-a-crab’ from modeling clay. Join local artists to make a large and colourful ‘Recycled Reef’ and some fantastic reef creatures to hide in it, using fun, pre-loved materials.
