Scorch down the track and see if you can set the Inaugural Solar Gain Speed Record. Design, build and race your own sun speedster in the Solar Gain Solar Car Challenge and win some great prizes. ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?? Photosensitive Masterpiece: step into the darkroom and get creative. Use the power of the sun to develop your own unique piece of artography! Now Your Cooking! Don’t bake your body this summer…… bake a cake or an egg or melt delicious marsh-mellows using the incredible energy of the sun. Come in and help us bust the EGGSTRAORDINARY myth. Find out why solar cooking is the way of the future. Sunflower Fantasies! Did you know that the tallest sunflower ever recorded was a massive 26 feet, four inches or 8.0 metres tall? How green are your thumbs? Take home your own sunflower seedling, record its growth and share the photos and you could win some fantastic prizes. CAN YOU GROW THE EIFFEL FLOWER???. Not a gardener? Then try your hand at creating sunflower inspired wall art or face masks. Can you read a book by the light of a water bottle? Come along and discover how simple technologies are being used to provide green energy around the world. Play with light, mix colours and be amazed at how light spectrums colour our world. Juniors will be enthralled by the Little Eco Footprints Corner where they can play and explore in a green world. If the sun stopped shining would troglobites take over the world?
