MEDAL, Princess Royal and Frederick Betrothal

Very high relief. On obverse, the heads of Victoria and Frederick and around the edge, "VICTORIA PRINCESS ROYAL OF ENGLAND FREDERICK WILLIAM PRINCE OF PRUSSIA". Beneath the heads, "HUNT & ROSKELL D. / L. C. WYON. F" (Leonard Charles Wyon, designer or engraver). On the reverse there is a wreath of roses and other blossoms, at the centre, "JANUARY / XXV / MDCCCLVIII" (1858) and in small lettering beneath, "L. C. W."
