On obverse, head of youthful Queen Victoria and around the rim,"VICTORIA QUEEN / OF ENGLAND / A. BOVY". The lettering is decorated through a contrived shadow effect. On the reverse, the Exhibition building with a high dome is depicted, and beneath, "UNIVERSAL EXHIBITION / OF LONDON / 1862 / MASSONNET EDITOR."
