White. Long sleeves, slightly gathered at shoulders, high neck. Bodice joined to skirt with machinery embroidered insertion. Bodice made up of panels of pin tucked fabric alternating with insertions of machinery lace. Lace bordered by coral stitch. Skirt gathered all around waist. Bottom of skirt embroidered with machinery broderie anglaise diminishing into satin stitch flowers and leaves to centre of skirt. Sleeves gathered at wrists and decorated with band of lace. They are also open at the wrists, fastening with two buttons. Open at back, fastening with three buttons. Neck embroidered with coral stitch. Part machine-part hand sewn.
