Cream. Bodice small (5cm deep at centre front) trimmed with overlapping strips of lace and decorated with herringbone. Neckline trimmed with val. lace. Bodice back trimmed with lace and herringbone, centre back opening with 2 press-studs. Set-in sleeves gathered at wrists, trimmed with 3 rows of hand-stitching herringbone and val. lace. Side seams and sleeve seams machine sewn, French. Sleeves and skirt attached to bodice with hand sewing. Skirt: gathered into bodice. Lower skirt has 2 strips lace, 2 sets of 3 pintucks, herringbone decoration. Machine sewn hem with herringbone machine stitches.
