White cotton; top section decorated with vertical rows of pintucking and herringbone around front opening which has lace-trimmed flap to cover buttons. Large pintucks at back of neck to take in fullness. Plain skirt.
Sleeves gathered at top of shoulder seam, fairly straight, wristband trimmed with pin tucks and herringbone, lace edged.
Round neckline with four pointed collar decorated with herringbone, edged with strip of gathered cotton trimmed with lace. No waistline and a straight hemline. Scallop edge, probably torchon lace, cotton. Flat seams, 3 metal buttons, covered at front. All hand sewn.
Name tag in red on back of neck: 'G.B. Leslie'.
