White, long sleeves, high neck. Open at back, fastening with four buttons. Sleeves slightly gathered at shoulders and wrists. Skirt gathered at waist. Skirt joined to bodice with 3cm insertion of openwork, interspersed with satin stitch dots, and drawn threadwork on edges. Narrow band of drawn thread work attached to sleeve at wrist and neck then lace attached to the threadwork. At neck, silk drawstring threaded through drawn threadwork. Front bodice has four insertions of lace running vertically. Same type of lace inserted whole way round skirt, about half way down. Bottom half of skirt made from spotted muslin. Bodice also made from spotted muslin, though has less spots. Scalloped zig-zag hem. Flat seams on skirt, french seams on bodice. Machined lace, insertion at waist and spotted muslin - rest hand sewn.
