Cream satin. Fitted bodice to natural waist. Cotton linin Front: fastening with 12 hooks on lining. Boned : 2 on fastening (each side), 2 each side of opening, one in each side seam and 3 at back. Back cut in 4 sections, with central back seam, boned on eac seam. Deep round neckline, with silk draw-tape. Trimming down front, pouched effect of pleated and gathered satin, gathering repeated at back. Back and front have simulated square yoke of coar silk lace in two strips, fringed from shoulders to waist, back and front and cross section fastening to satin with hooks in front, wit hand-covered, matching satin baubles hanging down ( 7 back, 11 fron - one becoming unravelled). Chiffon over cotton lining inset in central neckline, chiffon frill neck. Sleeves short, very full puffs. Many pintucks, culminating in puff at top. Trimmed with rows of chiffon ruching and frills. Cotton lining. Waist band from central back bones. Mostly machine sewn. 3 hooks at back to attach skirt.
