Day dress. One-piece. Ivory silk printed in design of stylized flowers, scrolls etc. in yellow, deep red, green and black.
Bodice: Slightly 'V' shaped neckline, open in front and laced with deep pink silk cord. Opening widens at top to reveal trimmed lining. Cord threaded through eyelet holes. Low pointed waistline, piped. Central seam, boned, shaped with 2 darts. Bone in each side seam. Back fastening with hooks and loops, edges piped. Sleeves close-fitting at top, widening to wrist. Open with cord lacing from above elbow. Armholes piped.
Skirt: Full and plain. Set with tiny pleats (gauged, or hand stroked) into waist. Fully lined with white cotton.
