Join Aurelio Costarella and Leigh O’Brien as they discuss fashion design and the historical wedding dress, exploring how glamour and techniques from the past can provide a palette of elements to inspire the contemporary designer. On this highlights journey through Unveiled: 200 Years of Wedding Glamour, Aurelio will discuss his own design approach to creating ‘the dress’ for the modern bride on her special day.

Children, Young People and the Arts seminar

You are invited to participate in a seminar that will review innovative projects which have engaged children and young people, positively influenced their wellbeing and created interesting arts productions. The seminar will also consider how partnerships between agencies and arts companies can be used to hold effective consultations with children and young people.

Arena Theatre Company’s Artistic Director, Christian Leavesley will discuss how the involvement of children shaped the final production of ‘The House of Dreaming’.
