Clear glaze with very slight green tinge. Footed with scalloped base a two bands of gilding around aqua over the glaze, band. Relief moulded at base cup bowl, in "feather" pattern, gilded. Body aqua with gilded band and garland in semi-relief. In Sevres style. Large handle in two sections twisted together Gilded band repeated inside edge and groups of well painted flowers, over the glaze. Pattern number on base "6827". Nairn thought Copeland. Pattern number n inconsistent with this, although most Copeland material was marked. Copeland w making copies of Sevres style. Nairn number C \ 49. Ref. Godden, British Porcelain, 1974, pages 177/8.
