Bluish glaze. Gilded scalloped edge with multiple flutes extending to just before centre. Printed pattern in underglaze brown, gilded. Printed mark base in underglaze blue-green "SPODE \ (square seal device with) C \ COPELAND" Pattern number "3887 \ 3" or "Z" Nairn number 94. Copeland, Mark in use 1875-90.
