a. Cup. White glaze. Slightly fluted sides to cup. Remains of gilding edge, on handle and under band of green decoration. Mark on base, printed in under-glaze green "COPELAND & GARRETT" around "LATE \ SPODES \ FELSPAR \ PORCELAIN". b. Saucer. Matches cup. Gilding has survived better. Marked as a. Nairn number C \ 24. Thinks is later piece, ca 1845. Pattern number 5189 on saucer. Ref. Godden, Encyclopaedia, 1964, page 173, number 1093
